Fattoria La Tancia is set in the heart of the Chianti area from where you can easily reach the most famous places in Tuscany, only a few meters from the exit Tavarnelle of the highway connecting Florence and Siena. The beautiful house of the 14th century has been restored according to the ancient Tuscan architecture; inside the house the owners restored three characteristic apartments that can be rented weekly, from Saturday to Saturday.
Florence is at 16 km, Siena at 40 km and the famous Medieval town of San Gimignano is at only 20 km. In the village Sambuca (2 km) there is a public swimming pool and a tennis court and in Tavarnelle, at 4 km, there are all sorts of shops.
The Fattoria La Tancia produce an excellent Chiantiwine D.O.C.G., white wine and rose, olive oil, grappa and vinsanto, that can be tasted and bought directly on the spot.
Il Cantuccio (2 persons) - Small 40 sqm apartment on the 1st floor of the Fattoria, with a kitchen (oven, freezer, fridge) with dining table and sofa, a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. La Vigna (3-5 persons) - 100 sqm apartment on the 1st floor of the Fattoria with a kitchen (oven, freezer, fridge) with dining table and bed-settee, a single bedroom, a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. La Torre (2-4 Persons) - Apartment in the tower of the Fattoria on the 2nd floor, with a kitchen (oven, freezer, fridge) with dining table and sofa, a small bath-room with shower and an open gallery with beutiful wooden beams with a double bed and two single beds.
